’29’ Project

In 2017 I did an editorial illustration based project about the Pike River Disaster.

On the 19th November 2010 Pike River Coal Mine on the West Coast of New Zealand exploded, killing 29 miners. This work is my response to how things stand six and half years later (2017), and how the story may continue.

Bob’s Soda

In 2015 as part of my study at NMIT I created a fictional adult soda brand called Bob’s Soda. This included bottle labels, packaging and promotional posters, and font design.

Inside the Hood Series

In 2016 while studying at NMIT, I started a drawing project exploring falconry. This involved research and development of ideas in a sketchbook as well as finished artworks. Three of the artworks were part of the ‘Epitome’ Exhibition held in G Space, NMIT in 2017, where two were sold.

Inspirational NZ Women Portrait Series

I created a series of illustrative portraits of inspirational NZ women as a personal project. This was somewhat inspired by my daughter’s love of a book I bought her called “Bedtime Stories for Rebel Girls” which features the true stories of 100 inspiring women from around the world.
